"I bought a new laptop at the store and asked them to copy my photos and documents from the old one. No one contacted me when it was done. Found out later they did not copy the data to my new computer and I could not access the files on my old one. I had to take it to the Lancaster store where they immediately solved the access problem and copied my files from the old laptop to the new one. Crappy service at the Reynoldsburg store"

"Placed an order on september the first to be delivered on the seventh between 13:45 and 16:45 for a fifty five inch tv and a soundbar, The time came and went with no call and no show. Driver finally calls at eight fifteen, says they're picking up the soundbar at the at the store. I told them at that point we need to reschedule. I called and talked to customer service, and they said, I would have to call on Sunday. So I did, then they told me, I'd have to wait 24 to 48 hours for them to process it. Here it is monday at twelve noon and still have not received a call back to schedule the new delivery and they've got my money. That has got to be the dumbest ass procedure, i've ever heard about you never make customer wait. And when you screw up that customer should get top priority to get it fixed. I wouldn't trust best lie if they were in church praying. Unfortunately yelp will not allow up me to give them zero stars when they truly deserve negative numbers."

Which has better throughput a USB stick 512GB at 150 Mb/s or a external drive enclosure, with a 512 GB NvME SSD in side. I have the enclosure already, and has 2 different short cables.
All works well with good transfer speeds except that when I go to the SSD's Properties, Windows 10 sees it as a HDD instead of an SSD as it should, like it correctly does with the main OS drive (screenshot below, external SSD highlighted in yellow). Any help appreciated.
I downloaded a Windows boot image onto my 1Tb external hard drive, but now my drive only appears in file manager as a 32gb external drive. Disk Manager shows my external drive (ESD-USB - "G") as having a 32gb FAT32 (Healthy Primary Partition) plus 899.51Gb is shown as "Unallocated"

I have a new 8TB SATA SSD (Samsung 870 QVO) in an Inateck USB 3.2 enclosure. I'm trying to initialize it (over a USB 3.1 port) so I can format it and use it as an external USB backup drive, but when I right-click on it in Disk Management and select "Initialize Disk," it throws an "Incorrect function" error, whether I select MBR or GPT style.

How to Change and Assign Drive Letter in Windows 10 By default, Windows 10 will automatically assign an available drive letter to any connected internal and external storage devices. The SSD won't be any different than an external hard drive. What I have done is create Kyhi's recovery drive on a small FAT32 partition: Windows 10 Recovery Tools - Bootable Rescue Disk - Windows 10 Forums Format the rest of the SSD as a NTFS partition and store multiple Windows and MS Office ISOs on the NTFS partition.
To install Windows 10 on an external drive depends on whether you are going to boot the device in legacy BIOS or UEFI or if you want it to be universally bootable. So, you connect both the external SSD or HDD and you boot the computer from your Windows 10 installation USB flash drive made from the Media Creation Tool.
